Growing up with an Italian Mother who worked and siblings who didn’t or couldn’t cook, and a hunger drove Tina to learn to cook. When her mom was home she was learning directly from her, but when she was at work it was instructions over the phone then Tina was on her own. Tina isn’t a professionally trained chef, but she says, “she went to the School of Velia,” her mother.
She has been a personal trainer and nutritional consultant for 20 years. The best way, she found to teach nutrition was in the kitchen.
