Nira Berry, is known as the Happiness Coach, and her mission is to ignite the spark of joy and wellness within you. Nira’s specialty is happiness, stress management and laughter experiences including laughter yoga, LaughingRx laughter team-building events, laughter therapy and life coaching. Nira is the founder of LaughingRx laughter wellness programs and is known worldwide as the Happiness coach. Nira is also the author of “Laugh Off Stress: Laughter Yoga Exercises” and her upcoming book on Laughter Therapy, expected to be released in 2017.
Nira discovered the power and healing benefits of laughter during her recovery from cancer. Since then, her passion is to spread the message of living with joy and laughter to thousands worldwide and has been a featured speaker at hundreds of government, health, and corporate events. Combining her expertise in wellness coaching and her expertise in Laughter yoga and Laughter therapy, Nira Berry founded the laughter wellness movement. Nira coaches corporate/private individuals and groups, helping them live balanced, fulfilled, healthy and happy lives and loves to lead laughter programs to small and large groups.
Nira is a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, she has a graduate degree in Health and Wellness Coaching from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and is a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher. She enjoys giving back by speaking, coaching and mentoring in the DC community and is also a member of the Survivor Volunteer Board, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Nira is frequently featured in the national and international media such as U.S. Today, Readers Digest, Forbes, Washington Post and Bethesda Magazine for her expertise in laughter and wellness.
