Car enthusiasts of all ages braved the rain for the 2024 Kensington Car Show! Cars, trucks, and motorcycles lined Antique Row with hoods popped and rims shined. Live bands, King Soul and The Nighthawks, revved up event-goers at both ends of Howard Avenue. Kids got balloon creations and painted faces by Jolie Faces. And everyone fueled up at local food trucks and vendors like PhoWheels, BabyCat Brewery, Potomac Sweets, and more.
Now in its 7th year, the Kensington Car Show is a well-established event that displays founder Mario Bruno’s love of cars –“what America was built on,” he says, and community. Not only does it bring joy to so many, but proceeds support local charities. This year’s selected charity was the Jubilee Association of Maryland, which helps adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Montgomery County live their best lives.
