Primary Election Day in Maryland is Tuesday, May 14! Don’t miss the chance to make your voice heard and exercise your democratic rights. Here is everything you need to know for getting your vote counted:
- Early in-person voting ends May 9. Voters may go to any of the 14 Early Voting Centers in Montgomery County to vote in-person, 7am-8pm daily. Public Transit is available to reach all centers.
- Mail-in ballots must be postmarked on or before May 14. Return your ballot by U.S. mail, at a Ballot Drop Box, or at your assigned polling place on Election Day. If you have not received mail-in ballots, submit a mail-in ballot application for future elections.
- Election Day in-person voting is on May 14. Voters must go to their assigned precinct polling place, which you can find online here. Polling places are open 7am-8pm, and all voters that arrive by 8pm will be allowed to vote.
Note: for in-person voting, voters may register same-day, on-site at their local polling place with identification that includes proof of residency.
