BabyCat Brewery, tucked between a small shopping center and the MARC train tracks in historic Kensington, has quickly become a prime destination for residents across Montgomery County. Co-Owners Sam Mussomeli and Terry Redmond gave MMC-TV the backstory to the success of the brewery and taproom, which is often seen bustling with live music, trivia nights, fundraisers, and family-friendly meetups.
Mussomeli also gave us the scoop on a second BabyCat location coming to downtown Bethesda (at the corner of Del Ray Ave. and Rugby Ave.). The concept will remain the same: casual, indoor/outdoor atmosphere, but with 2,500 square feet that includes a full kitchen in addition to the production brewery. This location is expected to open Spring 2025.
