For over 100 years, the Montgomery County League of Women Voters (LWVMC) has been empowering voters and defending democracy. This nonpartisan, volunteer organization is most well-known for its unbiased Voters’ Guide released during election years, informing voters on candidates and critical issues on the ballot. LWVMC also holds voter registration drives and candidate forums for local offices.
President of LWVMC, Susan Albertine, joined MMC-TV to get the word out about the upcoming Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 8th from 9:30am-1:00pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville. All are invited to come celebrate achievements, and discuss pressing issues and future goals. This is a great opportunity to get involved, and consider joining the organization, which is open to all Montgomery County residents.
