Breathwork, is simply, a conscious connected breath that promotes wellness according to Breathworker Lauren Chelec Cafritz who is also a Wellness Coach, and Author of Breath Love. Nira Berry, host of Happy & Healthy shares her experience in a Breathwork class with Lauren and they discuss how a conscious breath affects so much of what we do. It can help with anger issues, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, and PTSD by finding a place of calm and balance.
Consciously breathing one can help deal with the emotional piece of being afraid of not being able to breath like when one experiences Asthma. Breathwork can help open ones breath to take a bigger breath or small mouse breaths. It influences one’s mental, emotional, or physical state with a therapeutic effect.
