Last Sunday, May 17th the Town of Kensington along with The Nighthawks and St. Paul’s United Methodist Church hosted a Food Drive. The food drive resulted in two vans full of non-perishable food or roughly 1200 pounds of food. Donations also included $602 and 5 Safeway gift cards. There were approximately 40-50 cars that delivered food to the town hall throughout the day. All donations from the food drive were delivered to Bethesda Help to help neighbors in need.
