Ellouise Schoettler host and storyteller of Stories In Time From Home has a collection of letters from 1917. Written by American Red Cross Nurses that were in France during WWI helping with the sick and injured. The group of letters Ellouise shared today were from women who had just arrived in France and were getting acquainted with their new environment and challenges. They are up in the mountains where it is cold and one young lady request for her fur coat to be sent to her.
