Growing up with an Italian Mother who worked and siblings who didn’t or couldn’t cook, and a hunger, drove Tina to learn to cook. When her mom was home she was learning directly from her, but when she was at work it was instructions over the phone then Tina was on her own. She says, “she went to the School of Valla!” Her mother. Tina isn’t a professionally trained chef. She has been a personal trainer and nutritional consultant for 20 years. The best way she found to teach nutrition was in the kitchen. - Eat food as close to how Mother Nature provided for us. NEWS FLASH…The more processed food is, the worst it is for our health. Dare we say it VEGGIES ARE BEAUTIFUL…VEGETABLES ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! If it walks, flies, swims, or/and grows it is full of vitamins, minerals, digestive enzymes, and fibers. This is life, not food in a package, it is depleted of life. Eat the Rainbow, multiple colors of fruit and vegetables all have different health properties.
- Move…make what you love a ritual. Whatever you love do it…just move or walk the dogs, dance, take the stairs, stretch, during a chore, get exercise in wherever you are and do what’s fun for you!
