Thousands of guests enjoyed the 16th annual Day of the Book Festival in Kensington MD on April 23, 2023. The Day of the Book is inspired by the Catalonian holiday Sant Jordi (Saint George’s Day) in which people exchange books and roses as a show of respect and love. This year’s Festival was especially significant as the Town of Kensington was honored with a visit from the Delegation of Catalonia who shared food and customs synonymous with the holiday.
