On this month’s edition of Social Security: Securing Today & Tomorrow, host Diana Varela from the Social Security Administration provides more detailed instructions on how to complete the disability report for children. This is the second step in the application process for obtaining social security disability benefits on behalf of your child.
Applicants are directed to ssa.gov/disability to first complete an application, then the disability report, and finally sign a consent for release of medical records. Varela walks you through the process of filling out the disability report online and all of the information you need in order to complete the report.
