One of the DC region’s largest art shows–Montgomery Art Association’s Paint the Town Labor Day Show–is back August 31-September 2 at the historic Kensington Town Hall! Come see the exhibition and sale of artwork, and live art demos and music. Plus, experience a Plein Air art competition, where you’ll find dozens of artists painting and drawing views throughout the Town of Kensington. Make Paint the Town part of your Labor Day weekend festivities, along with the highly anticipated Town of Kensington Labor Day Parade and Festival on Monday, September 2, 10AM-2PM. The parade runs from Plyers Mill Road to Noyes Library, and the Festival takes place at Armory Avenue. All of these family-friendly events are free and open to the public.
