Save the date: the Day of the Book Festival is back Sunday, April 27th, 11AM – 4PM! This annual, beloved event fills Antique Row in Kensington, Maryland with a celebration of books. Lining the streets are authors and literary organizations welcoming book lovers of all ages. There are also several stages of entertainment featuring live music, children’s programs, cookbook demos, food trucks, and more.
The main event is the vast lineup of authors, but don’t miss this year’s DC Baseball History Panel Discussion and food talks with cookbook authors Johnathan Bardzik and Patricia Tanumihardja. The ever popular Great Zucchini is back again this year on the children’s stage. And for Kensington locals, you’ll recognize DJ Quartermaine of Love People Records spinning records for a Family Dance Party.
