I know my two doggies Bruce Wayne & Sadie Mae will be so excited to dress up in their Spring Attire and enjoy a leisurely walk on a paved trail followed by some hooman treats. They wish, but they will have their very own doggy treats and I will get my own hooman treats! We are also looking forward to our photo-op!
Saturday, April 1st 9am-11am put a spring in your step at South Germantown Recreational Park’s HeartSmart Trail (18028 Central Park Circle) for our pet-friendly walk ‘Petals and Paws’. See the flowers begin to bloom and accessorize your canine and walk through the 1.0-mile loop.
End the trail with light refreshments for purchase from TOIMOI Bakery, and dog-approved snacks for purchase by Doggy Donuts. Take a picture with your pup at the photo station, paint your own full bloom at the craft station, and don’t forget to pick up a native Red Bud seedling by our Montgomery Park’s Urban Forestry Team for Arbor Day. Add another member to your pack and/or donate to our local rescue organization, PetConnect. Parking is located along the HeartSmart Trail at the Splash Park Lot (18056 Central Park Circle), Model Boat Park lot, the Splash Park lot, and the ‘Moo’seum Parking lot.
