Get ready for the parades, cookouts, live music, and more around Montgomery County, Maryland for the 4th of July. Festivities begin as early as this Sunday, June 30th for some residents. Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming to a town near you:
- Chevy Chase Village – parade, party for residents (July 4)
- Garrett Park – parade, live music, activities for residents (July 4-5)
- Kensington – bike parade (July 4)
- Martin’s Additions – activities and food trucks for residents (June 30)
- Somerset – celebration for residents (July 4)
- Washington Grove – marching parade (July 4)
Montgomery County will also host fireworks at two locations:
- Thursday, July 4, 7:00 PM: Germantown Glory at South Germantown Recreational Park, located at 18041 Central Park Circle in Germantown (Boyds)
- Saturday, July 6, 6:00 PM: Mid-County Sparkles at Albert Einstein High School, located at 11135 Newport Mill Road, Kensington
