Watch a new episode of Que Pasa this weekend at 9 pm. Betty Valdés interviews Lilly Castillo-Harris, President and Executive Director of Hispanos Sin Fronteras and Co-President together with Walkiria Pool of the Census 2020 of Maryland. This is the first time two Latinas are named by the Governor of Maryland. Harris addresses two very important issues for our community.
Harris shares valuable information for Small entrepreneurs. Such as their legal structures, the importance of the licenses needed for the growth and success of companies and other issues.
Harris explains how important it is that we all participate in the 2020 Census. Especially our Hispanic community in order to be counted. The distribution of the nation’s budget is based on the number of growth of the population in each state/jurisdiction. These funds make it possible to provide services such as education, health, social services, infrastructure, as well as the number of representatives in that nation’s congress.
