Concepts Communications specializes in developing and implementing outreach campaigns that focus on the disability and veteran community. They create a lot of social media engagement, write speeches, create websites that are accesible for people with disabilities, and whenever they have a conference, they make sure anyone can participate in that conference. There main focus is engaging the employer community on the value of hiring people with disabilities. Concepts Communications create anything to do with communication and when they create a campaign and implement it they really want to show an impact by effecting the way someone is thinking. The goal of this campaign is to educate employers on the value of hiring someone with a disability. In order to achieve this a website and social media campaign are created and Karen and her team focus on what it means to have somebody with a disability in the workplace and what do they need to focus on. The areas that they focus on are assisted technology, accessibility, and any of the accommodations that people don’t think about.
