On November 12th the Montgomery County Council held the last of a series of youth town hall events. The events have provided students with a chance to meet their local representatives and to ask questions and get information about the issues that matter to them.
Every time we have the opportunity to hear from the young residents of Montgomery County it gives me a great sense of pride,” said Council President Nancy Navarro. “Last year we had engaging discussion on various topics relating to school safety, bullying, mental health resources, and more. Since then our young residents have continued to participate in our racial equity and social justice discussions that we’ve had since March. I am excited for the future of this County because I have great confidence that our up and coming leaders will work hard to continue to improve our County and the lives of all residents.”
