Scheduled for completion in the fall, the new Wheaton Community Recreation Center is looking for part-time seasonal employees. Montgomery County Recreations will be hosting two job fairs at the Recreation Administrative Office, located at 4010 Randolph Road in Silver Spring.
- Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Applicants should bring copies of their resume and be prepared to talk about their experience and availability.
Open positions include evening and weekend hours. Montgomery County Recreation wants people handling the front desk, customer service, and youth programming.
The pay starts at $13 an hour, and increases based on experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. A minimum of three years work experience is preferred. Bilingual applicants are also encouraged to apply.
All applicants must pass a criminal background investigation.
