On September 22nd 2019 friends and neighbors, and artists gathered at the Wheaton Triangle at Georgia Avenue for the Wheaton Arts Parade and Festival! Decorative floats and costumes lined Georgia Avenue in addition to several local high school performance groups and bands. On this day- everyone can be an artist. More than 70 local artists had their artwork on display and for sale. Visitors enjoyed live performances of music and dance, art-making demonstrations, family art and sensory inclusion activities, and a Food Court featuring some of Wheaton’s favorite restaurants. See the highlight video below, and visit https://www.wheatonartsparade.org/ for more info on how to get involved next year!
