Montgomery County has many Pride celebrations available for you to participate in this Pride month. County leaders kicked off Pride Month by raising the Progress Pride flag in Rockville outside the Executive Office Building on Veterans Memorial Plaza. Watch a highlight of the celebration below.
The counties leaders arrived on the #RideWithPride, Ride On bus wrapped with the Pride flag. The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) dedicated one Ride On bus, The Ride with Pride Bus, wrapped with the Pride Progress Flag, will be integrated on routes throughout the county during Pride Month. “MCDOT is proud to support the LGBTQ+ Movement…and We’re Putting it in Lights!” PRIDE will be lite up in neon lights to stand out at night. The bus is dedicated to the uplifting of LGBTQ+ voices, culture, and civil rights.
All over Montgomery County Pride Celebrations will continue throughout June. Many organizations like Montgomery County Public Library, Montgomery Parks, Montgomery County Council, Glen Echo, Rockville, and Takoma Park are having special events to celebrate Pride. There’s many events like a Family Day, Comedy Show, and Festivals to enjoy.

Birding for All

A park naturalist leads adult birders of all levels. The evening begins with an introduction to birding and helpful birding tips. Bring your binoculars, or some will be provided if needed. Pride Awareness Hike
