The Sustainable Barnesville Webpage is here! When you visit the town’s website, you will now have an option to visit SUSTAINABLE BARNESVILLE. Please take a look at this new webpage. In addition to news about current projects that the Barnesville Green Team is working on, there is a resource page with many links to information on everything from Energy Conservation to Gardening, Health and Wellness, Environmental Preservation and lots of other community resources. Want to know which kind of LED bulb to use for a particular situation? There’s a link for that. Want to know the trail conditions at the Towpath? There’s a link for that. Want to know how to maintain your well and septic systems? When the next Countryside Artisans tour is scheduled? Yes, there are links for those, too. The Sustainable Barnesville resource page is meant to be a one-click source for online information about everything that makes our community so special … and can help us keep it that way.
Thank you to everyone who worked on making this webpage possible: Sustainable Maryland and their great intern, Galina Koroleva, Veronica O’Connor (Green Team member and webmaster for this effort) and all the other members of the Green Team who added ideas and information for the webpage – Joyce Bailey, Audrey Morris, Jane Thompson, Lauren Greenberger, Julee Evans and Anne Sturm.
