Renee Lee Rosenberg, MA Certified Positivity Career Counselor and Anti-Ageism Advocate will share 5 Body & Brain Positivity Habits on this episode of It’s a Woman’s World with host Carolyn Bruna. Renee is a transition counselor working for over 30 years, who helps people discover their passion and achieve a successful productive healthy career no matter what age. She believes people can awaken positivity within themselves even during difficult times and these 5 simple tools will help push stress and negativity aside and help you focus on staying positive in your career and your life.
Renee dubbed herself the Positivity Pro when she was seeing her clients have negative thinking that was simply bad habits. She wanted to help her clients do and be their best. People know she will help them stop saying negative thoughts and really move forward with an awareness of who they are and what they can do. People can learn to be positive, by breaking those bad habits of negative thoughts constantly running in their minds.
Renee is the author of “Achieving The Good Life After 50: Tools And Resources for Making It Happen.” As her clients aged they noticed a big problem that bothered them, Ageism. It is used today and is still acceptable. When people think of age or ageism they think of discrimination, prejudice, and stereotypes, which is very difficult to get over in a job search. Our culture says we look at people as a number and discriminate by a number.

How to Create an Affirmation
Be more mindful of your thoughts and the language you use by using positive language.
1. Start with “I” because it really is about you.
2. It has to be in present tense.
3. 5-7 words about something you want to do differently, something you want to change, or something you want to see success in accomplishing.
Once you start thinking about it, that leads to visualizing it to make it come to fruition.
How to Train Yourself to Breath Deeply
Use fist or ballon to train your body to take deep breaths. Breath into your first or ballon 3x and you’ll find that you’ll need to take a deep breath.
Why You Need to Move
Walking relaxes the brain and by taking oxygen to the brain and circulates your blood. Remember 20 2 20, meaning every 20 minutes, you need to move for 2 minutes and look at least 20 feet away from your screen.
Why You Need to Laugh
Laughing needs to be part of your daily activity. You need to laugh 5x-10x a day to help become relaxed. It helps circulate the blood and gets oxygen to the brain. Your brain thinks you are happy when you are laughing for any reason, it doesn’t know the difference, but you will feel more energized and productive after a good laugh.
How to Indulge
Indulge in a healthy way, show yourself gratitude, self kindness, think about what makes you happy, or something you can give yourself. Like a walk in nature or call a friend.
