Listen and learn all about Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH) origin story from Sarah Jacobs president of WAM & Fam, an independent parents group that welcomes all families. Sarah provided the first venue and helped Beth DiGregorio, President of Drag Queen Story Hour DC Metro and Surrounding Areas kick-off the first DQSH and keeps helping her like conducting this interview. DQSH has really grown from Beth’s hard work and Sarah’s help into this chapter that extends out of Montgomery County and is expanding into Baltimore and all throughout Maryland, DC, and Virginia. DQSH is an incredible enjoyable, educational, loving, good time with family and friends and a Drag Queen. It doesn’t get much better then that just look at these kids and adults at this Drag Queen Story Hour below. Bonus: Everyone got to take home a craft kit, I believe of a rainbow hat they got to construct.
Celebrate PRIDE with Drag Queen Story Hour at Pride In The Plaza! There are a few DQSH left during June in Montgomery County, come check them out. If you can’t make it come out another time because DQSH is all throughout the year. Come join a Drag Queen and have some imaginative colorful fun in some books!
