Former U.S. Representative Connie Morella launched her political career in the late 1980’s after serving as an educator in Montgomery County. She states that her earliest years on the campaign trail were spent “knocking on doors” in Bethesda neighborhoods. It’s clear that despite retiring from politics several years ago Morella is still passionate about the future especially in regards to the role that women can play in shaping it.
