Dr. Dunleavy is a medical oncologist and hematologist who leads the Malignant Hematology group for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that develops in the lymphatic system – the vessels and glands throughout the body that protect you from infection. The most common locations that lymphoma is found is in the neck, under the arms, and in the groin.
